Our Detroit location is recognized through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as part of the National Health Service Corps, serving communities identified as Health Professional Shortage Areas and Medically Underserved Areas/Populations.
Through this designation, eligible, fully licensed professionals—including Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses (BSN), Licensed Master Social Workers, and Licensed Professional Counselors—may qualify for student loan repayment opportunities, with the potential for renewal based on continued eligibility.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) at AWBS
We are proud to be a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. This federal initiative offers eligible employees the opportunity to have their student loans forgiven after 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time in public service. Joining AWBS not only allows you to contribute to meaningful change but also provides access to financial relief through this valuable program.
