Duties:

• Will safely transport consumers to and from programs.
• Will transport consumers and staff on trips in the community, doctors visits, etc.
• Performs other duties as required, including working in group rooms as an Aide and floating between sites as needed.

Skills/Experience:

• Required: One to two years satisfactory work experience providing transportation services to individuals.
• Required: Must be mature and have the ability to work cohesively with a team.
• Required: Ability to complete required documentation on time.
• Preferred: Knowledge of and experience transporting persons with developmental disabilities/special needs
• Preferred: Experience operating wheel chair lifts.
• Preferred: Knowledge of and experience transporting persons with developmental disabilities/ special needs.
• Preferred: Experience operating wheel chair lifts.

Credentials:

• Required: A valid Michigan Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clear driving record.
• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Passenger endorsement.
• Preferred: Own reliable transportation
